Bucksport High School Guidance
Welcome to our guidance website, where we will try to keep our students and parents/guardians up to date on what is going on and what is to come. We hope to help make this journey through your high school years and beyond, fun and informative.
 

Bucksport High School Graduation Requirements:

  • Students must earn 24 credits
    • 4 credits in English
    • 4 credits in Math
    • 4 credits in Science and Technology (Biology required)
    • 3 credits in Social Studies (US History required)
    • 1 credit in Fine Arts
    • 1 credit in Health
    • 1 credit in Physical Education
    • Proof of Computer Proficiency
    • Maine Studies requirement (most students meet this in middle school)
    • All students must complete 40 hours of community service

May:
  • 5/27: Memorial Day, no school
  • 5/31: Senior BBQ and Assembly
June:
  • 6/5: Senior Walk, 10am
  • 6/5: Underclassmen Final Assembly, 12:00pm
  • 6/5: Class Night, 6:00pm
  • 6/6, 6/7, 6/10, 6/11: Review and Final Exams, grades 9-11
  • 6/7: BHS Graduation, 5:00pm
  • 6/12: Last Day of School for Students
