Welcome to the BHS guidance website where we keep our students and parents/guardians informed about what is going on and what is to come. Bucksport High School Graduation Requirements:

  • Students must earn 24 credits
    • 4 credits in English
    • 4 credits in Math
    • 4 credits in Science and Technology (Biology required)
    • 3 credits in Social Studies (US History required)
    • 1 credit in Fine Arts
    • 1 credit in Health
    • 1 credit in Physical Education
    • Proof of Computer Proficiency
    • Maine Studies requirement (most students meet this in middle school)
    • All students must complete 40 hours of community service

  • 5/6, 5/8, 5/11: AP Testing
  • 5/11: College Bound Junior Night, 6PM @ BHS Library
  • 5/25: No school, Memorial Day
  • 5/26-5/28: Senior Finals
June:
  • 6/3: Class Night
  • 6/5: Graduation
  • 6/5-6/10: Finals grades 9-11
  • 6/11: Last Day for students
