Bucksport High School

Dear Students and Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

We are looking forward to the start of school next week and seeing our students either in person or remotely. As you know we have put all students into a PURPLE, GOLD or FULLY REMOTE cohort. Prior to next week we wanted to send out a couple of reminders.

• The GOLD cohort will attend in person on Tuesday, September 8^th. (Purple and Fully Remote cohorts will NOT attend remotely).
• The FULLY REMOTE will start attending remotely on Wednesday, September 9^th.
• The PURPLE cohort will attend in person on Wednesday, September 9^th. (The Gold cohort will NOT attend remotely.)
•  Face coverings are required for all staff and students when they are in the building.
• Students can access their schedule on Infinite Campus. When arriving to the building they will go directly to their Period 1 class.
• Students who need to make schedule changes should email their school counselor.
• Laptops will be distributed to students on their first day of in person learning. Laptops for remote students are available in the main office.
• Students will be asked to log into our new Learning Management System called Brightspace. Their login username is their email address and the password is the same as what they use to sign into their Google accounts. You can access the login at rsu25.brightspace.com
• Our bell schedule is also attached to this email. Students learning remotely will login according to the times on this schedule.
• If students have a study hall they do NOT have to attend remotely.
• HCTC students will travel to Ellsworth on their in person days. As of right now they will attend remotely on Fridays. We are working on a way to have them attend HCTC on Fridays and will communicate that when it is available.
